Assisted Living Open House

A & R Comfort Care is operating a 5 bed assisted living facility for adults with disabilities. We are scheduling tours of the house and accepting applications for new residents. Only 1 bed is available!!!

Our services are customized and personalized to take in consideration the individual needs for each resident and each resident's personal preferences. Our staff is trained to communicate with the resident in a manner which allows them to share in the planning and implementation of their personal care.  Every effort is made to involve family and other persons who may be of special relationship with the resident in order to help the resident to maintain a feeling of self-worth.  Much of this personal application is dependent upon the intake and assessment process that is initiated prior to the residents actually moving in to the residence. With this assessment the resident is recommended a level of care: level 1, level 2 or level 3. This method is used for level of assistance the resident needs also the amount of money charged for our services. 

Regularly scheduled assessments helps to keep us compliant with local and state requirements; and more importantly to maintain the possible changing personal needs and desires of our residents.  A & R Comfort Care addresses all aspects of life as regards to the residents' needs and include (but not limited to): personal hygiene and grooming (including showering and / or bathing), medication management, social and recreational activities and events, mobility and transferring and monitoring for safety.
